Sweet Treats Bake-Off

All participants are to have their display in place by 3:45 PM in the Entertainment Building.  Please refer to the fair book or the Sweet Treats flyer for the rules, regulations and multiple categories. This does not require a pre-registration.

This contest is open to any 4H member or Cloverbud participating at this year’s Attica Jr. Fair. No pre-registration is needed.

Rules & Regulations:

• This contest is open to any Jr. Fair exhibitor or Cloverbud participating at this year’s Attica Jr. Fair. There is no need to pre-register.
• All participants must be set-up by 3:45 p.m. in the Entertainment building. The contest will begin at 4:00 p.m.
• Please do not return for your items until 7:00 p.m.
• Participants must exhibit a baker’s dozen (13) along with the recipe.
• All recipes must be homemade.
• Participants may enter each category in their age group, if they desire. Only one entry per category.
• Participants will need to provide a complete place setting consisting of: a place mat, napkin, silverware, drinking glass, plate with bake-off item, centerpiece, and recipe card. Be creative!
• Table space will be provided.
• All baked good entries will be placed in the baked goods auction.
• An award will be given for 1^st place in each category.

Classes for Bake-Off: (ages are as of January 1^st of the current year)

1. Cloverbud (ages 5-7)
   • Chocolate Covered – pick a recipe that covers something yummy in chocolate!
   • Camper Goodie – something yummy prepared in your camper!
2. Junior (ages 8-12)
   • Rice Krispie Treat – be creative!
   • Your favorite bar/drop cookie recipe
   • Your favorite muffin/cupcake recipe
3. Senior (ages 13-18)
   • Cut-out cookie – be creative!
   • Sweet & Salty
   • Cake pops
   • Pie – crumb or 2 crust topping only (no purchased crust or canned filling).
