Sweet Treats Bake-Off

This contest is open to any 4H member or Cloverbud participating at this year’s Attica Jr. Fair. No pre-registration is needed.

Rules

• Participants must be set-up by 3:45 pm in the Jr. Fair Office and the contest will begin at 4:00 pm.
• All recipes must be homemade and participants must exhibit a baker’s dozen along with the recipe.
• Participants may enter each category in their age group, but can only have one entry per category
• Participants need to provide a complete place setting consisting of, a placemat, napkin, silverware, drinking glass, plate with bake-off item, centerpiece and recipe card. Be creative!
• Table space will be provided
• All baked good entries will be placed in the baked goods auction
• Awards will be given for the 1st place winner in each category

Categories

• Cloverbud (ages 5-7)
  • Chocolate Covered – pick a recipe that covers something yummy in chocolate! Award provided by Attica K of C
  • Camper Goodie – something yummy prepared in your camper! Award provided by Ken & Michele Weaver
• Junior (ages 8-12)
  • Rice Krispie Treat – Award provided by Attica K of C
  • Bar/Drop Cookie – Award provided by Marlene Beat
  • Muffin/Cupcake – Award provided by Handshoe Cakes & Cookies
• Senior (ages 13-18)
  • Cut-Out Cookie – Award provided by Attica K of C
  • Sweet & Salty – Award provided by Attica Jr. Fairboard
  • Cake Pops – Award provided by Rock Run Sweet Treats
  • Pie – Crumb or 2 crust topping only, no purchased crusts or canned filling. Award provided by Smokey’s Family Restaurant & Tap
